Janod Acrobat : The best game for five year olds

With its beautiful vintage look, this game is charming before you even start playing it. As soon as it came out of the box, our tester was immediately enamored with the game.

The rules are fairly simple: players take turns rolling three-colored dice. The three colors correspond to points on a round board and three wooden “acrobats” are placed on the three colors dictated by the dice. The next player places a new tray balancing on the three acrobats placed by the previous player and this continues until there is a tall tower of increasing instability.

This is a suspenseful and addictive game – those who love Jenga will love it. It’s a fun game for kids and adults alike, and it’s a great way to teach kids about logic and consequences. Plus, each game lasts about 15 minutes, which is perfect for a five-year-old’s attention span.
