This 2,646-piece set allows builders to create a Nintendo game system, controller, video game cartridge and retro TV. This isn’t a quick 10-minute build. It’s at least an afternoon well spent.
What’s especially cool is the attention to detail that Lego put into the Lego NES set. The NES console opens up, allowing you to put in a cartridge, the controller can be connected via the controller port, and the TV… The TV is an incredible piece of engineering.
When finished, a crank on the side turns the inside to play like the first level of Super Mario Bros. It’s really great!
